Na razie wiadomo o: Pierwsza informacja o tym, że Europejskie Forum Ekonomiczne odbędzie się w Warszawie pojawiła się w listopadzie. O WEF (też) można było początkowo przeczytać jedynie na Indymediach po polsku i po angielsku. Czego tak bardzo obawiają się władze i korporacyjne media? Oczywiście demonstracji przeciwników Europejskiego Forum Ekonomicznego. Choć większość alterglobalistów otwarcie deklaruje, że nie zamierza odwoływać się do przemocy i że nie walki uliczne, ale prezentacja krytyk i alternatyw wobec szczytu jest ich głównym celem, na większości ilustracji do artykułów poświęconych nadchodzącemu szczytowi widzimy ściany ognia. Nikt nie wspomina o tym, że podczas Europejskiego Forum odbędzie się festiwal niezależnych teatrów, konferencja poświęcona ekonomii, alternatywom wobec neoliberalizmu [1], [2], (program), oraz inne wydarzenia kulturalne. W fascynacji sensacyjną stroną nadchodzących wydarzeń nikną argumenty przeciwników Forum . Protesty wobec Europejskiego Forum Ekonomicznego odbywały się już wtedy, gdy zbierało się ono w Salzburgu (Austria). Są częścią wystąpień alterglobalistów, podobnie, jak protesty wobec Banku Światowego, Międzynarodowego Funduszu Walutowego i Światowego Forum Ekonomicznego (też). Mają na celu zwrócenie uwagi opinii publicznej na niedemokratyczny charakter międzynarodowych spotkań głów państw i prezesów największych korporacji, którzy poza jakąkolwiek społeczną kontrolą decydują o podstawowych ekonomicznych i również politycznych działaniach w skali światowej. Ruch alterglobalistyczny narodził się w momencie, gdy okazało się, że istnieją obszary władzy zupełnie niedostępne społecznej kontroli. Polski ruch alterglobalistyczny, analizowany już na polskich indymediach z perspektywy lewicowej i wolnościowej, jest jeszcze relatywnie słaby, a w każdym razie o wiele mniej rozwinięty i wpływowy, niż analogiczne ruchy w innych krajach Europy. Niemniej również tu grupy o nie do końca tożsamych przekonaniach jednoczą się, by protestować i prezentować alternatywy dla globalnego kapitalizmu. Organizacje i sieci, takie jak stowarzyszenie Attac Polska; Koalicja Grup Wolnościowych (Federacja Anarchistyczna i grupy antyautorytarne); Pracownicza Demokracja Inicjatywa Stop Wojnie ; Poznańska Koalicja Antywojenna i wiele innych, w tym małe związki zawodowe, najprawdopodobniej pojawią się na wspólnej demonstracji 29 kwietnia, razem, choć nie tworząc jednego komitetu. Oczekiwany jest również przyjazd wielu aktywistów i aktywistek z zagranicy. Na zakończenie tego artykułu warto może zwrócić uwagę na to, że w Polsce brakuje postaci ze świata publicznego otwarcie popierających alterglobalistów (wyjątkami są tu, Jacek Kuroń oraz Zygmunt Bauman, których wypowiedzi można przeczytać w newswire). Nie ma u nas także oficjalnych, komercyjnych mediów, w których mogliby oni zaprezentować swoje stanowisko. We Francji, podczas Europejskiego Forum Społecznego, większość dziennikarzy z uwagą przyglądała się wystąpieniom działaczy z różnych krajów i prezentowała bądź dyskutowała ich opinie. Polskie media postanowiły tymczasem dokonać frontalnego ataku na organizatorów zbliżających się demonstracji. Pozostaje nam tylko oczekiwać, kiedy wreszcie również polskie media dojrzeją do demokracji, niezależności i wolności słowa. (po polsku) - (English) - (français) - (deutsch) - (italiano) The alternative globalisation movement in Poland is preparing itself [video] [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], for protests against the European Economic Forum, which will take place 28-30 April 2004 in Warsaw, and is organising its own, open summits (at least two) [1], [2]. The official media started talking about this theme about a month ago, trying to create a nightmare scenario for the event, but it failed to talk about the alternative summit. The protests, prepared by a variety of movements and groups, are also creating a panic in the Warsaw City council, with the Mayor calling for the city itself to be closed down during the Forum. (see: response of Mayor Kaczyński) What will happen in Warsaw? Known events include: The first reports about the European Economic Forum in Warsaw circulated in November 2003. More about the WEF can be read on Indymedia in Polish and in English . What are the authorities and the corporate media so afraid of? Of course, demonstrations against the European Economic Summit. While most of the alterglobalists openly declare that they don't plan any violence, nor street fights, but instead the presentation of critical analysis and an alternative summit is their main aim, as illustrations to most of the articles concerned with the summit, all we see is walls of fire. Nobody mentions the fact that simultaneously with the official Forum there will be an independent theatre festival an economic conference for alternatives to neoliberalism [1], [2], (program), as well as other cultural events. This sensationalism camouflages the arguments of opponents to the Forum. Protests against the European Economic Summit have previously occurred when it took place in Salzburg (Austria). These are similar to actions by alterglobalists in protest against the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the World Economic Forum. The purpose is to alert public opinion about the non-democratic nature of international meetings by heads of state and chief executives of the biggest corporations, who without any participation by society make fundamental economic and political decisions for the world. The alternative globalisation movement was born the moment when it became obvious that there was an area of political power which completely escapes any influence from ordinary people. A supernational body like the European Economic Forum decides on fundamental affairs of all regions of the world, such as managing debt, market strategy and finance as well as the natural environment. The Polish alterglobalist movement, analysed on the Polish indymedia from leftist and freedom perspectives, is still relatively weak, and in any case much less developed and influential than the similar movements in other European countries. Nevertheless, here too, groups with not quite the same beliefs have united in order to protest and present alternatives to global capitalism. Organisations and networks like ATTAC Poland; the Coalition of Freedom Groups (Anarchist Federation and anti-authoritarian groups); Workers' Democracy (Pracownicza Demokracja) the Stop War Initiative; the Poznań Antiwar Coalition and many others, including some small trade unions, most likely will converge to a common demonstration on the 29th of April, together, but without creating a committee. The arrival of many foreign activists is also expected. To close this article, it's worth pointing out that Poland lacks a public domain openly supporting alterglobalists (exceptions are Jacek Kuroń and Zygmunt Bauman, whose articles you can read in Polish on the newswire); there are no official, commercial media where these points of views can be expressed. (po polsku) - (English) - (français) - (deutsch) - (italiano) Le mouvement altermondialiste en Pologne se prépare [vidéo] [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], pour manifester contre le Sommet économique européen, qui va se passer du 28 au 30 avril à Varsovie, et organise ses propres sommets participatifs [1], [2]. Les médias officiels ont abordé se sujet il y a un mois environ, développant un scénario catastrophe de l'événement, mais ils n'ont rien dit sur le forum alternatif. Le conseil municipal de Varsovie est en train de paniquer en réponses aux préparations de manifestations par les divers mouvements et groupes, le maire demande la fermeture du centre ville pendant la durée du Forum. (voir: la réponse du Maire Kaczyński) Qu'est qui va se passer à Varsovie ? On a entendu parler : Les premières informations circulant au sujet du Forum économique européen à Varsovie sont sorties en novembre 2003. Plus d'informations sur le WEF (też) se trouvent sur Indymédia en polonais et en anglais . De quoi ont si peur les autorités et les médias commerciaux ? Évidemment, des manifestations des opposants au Forum économique européen. Bien que la grande majorité des altermondialistes ouvertement déclarent, qu'ils et elles ne prévoient aucunement utiliser de la violence, ni provoquer des bagarres, mais au contraire, que la présentation d'analyses critiques et du sommet alternatif sont leurs buts principaux, sur la plupart des graphiques accompagnant des articles concernant le sommet montrent des murs de feu. Aucun article de la presse commerciale signale que simultanément avec le Forum officiel il y aura un festival de théatre indépendant, un colloque économique, sur les alternatifs au néolibéralisme [1], [2], (program), ainsi que d'autres événements culturels. Ce sensationnalisme cache les arguments des opposants au Forum. Les manifestations contre le Forum économique européen se sont déjà passées lorsqu'il était organisé à Salzburg (Autriche). Elles se passent dans le même esprit que celles organisées contre la Banque mondiale, contre le Fond monétaire international et contre le Forum économique mondial. Le but est d'alerter l'opinion publique sur la nature non-démocratique des rencontres internationales des chefs d'état et des présidents des plus grandes entreprises multinationales, qui sans participation du public prennent des décisions économiques et politiques fondamentales. Le mouvement altermondialiste est né lorsque il est devenu évident qu'il y avait un pouvoir qui échappe complêtement le moindre influence des gens ordinaires. Un corps surnational comme le Forum économique européen décide des affaires fondamentales pour toutes régions du monde, comme, par exemple, la régulation des dettes, les stratégies du marché et financières, ainsi que l'environnement écologique. Le mouvement altermondialiste polonais, déjà analysé sur l'indymédia polonais à partir des points de vue de gauche et libertaire, et toujours relativement faible, et en tout cas de loin moins développé et influent que les mouvements pareils dans d'autres pays européens. Néanmoins, ici aussi, des groupes avec des buts pas tout à fait identiques se sont unifiés dans le but de protester et de présenter des alternatifs au capitalisme mondialiste. Des organisations et des réseaux comme l'ATTAC Pologne; la Coalition des groupes libertaires (Fédération anarchiste et des groupes anti-autoritaires); la Démocratie des travailleurs (Pracownicza Demokracja) l'Initiatif Stop la Guerre; la Coalition Antiguerre de Poznań et beaucoup d'autres, dont quelques petits syndicats, vont tout probablement se réunir pour une manifestation en commun le 29 avril, ensemble, mais sans créer de comité. L'arrivée de nombreux-ses activistes étranger-e-s est attendue aussi. Pour terminer cet article, il vaut la peine de rappeler qu'en Pologne il manque de domaine public ouvertement soutenant des altermondialistes. (à part quelques exceptions rarissimes, comme Jacek Kuroń et Zygmunt Bauman, ici en polonais sur le newswire), il n'y a pas chez nous de médias officiels, commerciaux où ses points de vue puissent être présentés. En France, pendant le Forum social européen, la plupart des journalistes ont fait attentions aux opinions des acteurs des pays divers et ont présentés, voir discuté leurs opinions. Les médias polonais, au contraire, ont en ce moment directement attaqué les organisateurs des manifestations qui s'approchent, alors que tout ce que nous attendons est que les médias polonais démontrent la maturité de respecter la démocratie, l'indépendance et la liberté d'expression. Il faut dans ce contexte mentionner les services indépendants, libertaires, de gauche et socialement engagés en Pologne, comme http://www.prawda.pl, http://www.poprostu.pl http://www.lewica.pl et http://www.recykling.uni.wroc.pl, où l'on peut trouver des informations sur les actions altermondialistes. (po polsku) - (English) - (français) - (deutsch) - (italiano) Die alternative Globalisierungsbewegung in Polen bereitet sich auf die Proteste gegen das Europäische Wirtschaftsforum (englisch) vor, [Video] [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] (alle Artikel polnisch) , das vom 28.-30. April 2004 in Warschau stattfinden wird und gerade dabei ist ihre eigenen Gegengipfel (mindestens zwei) [1] (englisch), [2] (polnisch) organisiert. Die öffentlichen Medien begannen vor ca. einem Monat dieses Thema aufzugreifen, indem sie versuchten ein Horrorszenario über dieses Ereignis zu entwerfen, verpasste aber über den Gegengipfel zu berichten. Auch die Proteste, die von einer Vielzahl von Bewegungen und Gruppen vorbereitet werden, rufen im warschauer Rathaus Panik hervor, so dass der Bürgermeister dazu aufrief, die Stadt während des Forums still zu legen (auch englisch) (siehe: Antwort von Bürgermeister Kaczynski (englisch)) Was wird in Warschau passieren? Geplante Ereignisse sind: Erste Berichte (englisch) über das Europäische Wirtschaftsforum in Warschau wurden im November 2003 veröffentlicht. Mehr über das WWF gibt es bei Indymedia in polnisch und englisch zu lesen. Wovor fürchten sich die Behörden und die Mainstream Medien? Natürlich vor den Demonstrationen gegen den Europäischen Wirtschaftsgipfel (englisch). Obwohl die meisten GlobalisierungsgegnerInnen offen erklären, dass sie auf Gewalt und Straßenkämpfe verzichten werden, sondern die Präsentation einer kritischen Analyse und der Gegengipfel (polnisch) ihr wichtigstes Anliegen ist, sieht man in den meisten Artikeln (polnisch), die sich mit dem Gipfel befassen nur Illustrationen von Straßenschlachten. Niemand erwähnt, dass es parallel zum offiziellen Forum ein unabhängiges Theater-Festival, eine Wirtschaftskonferenz (polnisch) über Alternativen zum Neoliberalismus, [1], [2], (Programm), sowie kulturelle Ereignisse geben wird. Diese Sensationsgier verzerrt die Argumente der GipfelgegnerInnen (englisch). Es fanden bereits Proteste gegen den Europäischen Wirtschaftsgipfel in Salzburg (Österreich) statt. Diese ähneln den Aktionen der GlobalisierungsgegnerInnen während der Proteste gegen die Weltbank, den Internationalen Währungsfond und dem Welt-Wirtschaftsforum (englisch). Die Absicht ist es, die Öffentlichkeit auf die undemokratische Natur dieser internationalen Treffen von Staatsoberhäuptern und Firmenchefs der größten Unternehmen (englisch) aufmerksam zu machen, die ohne jegliche Teilnahme der Gesellschaft fundamentale wirtschaftliche und politische Entscheidungen über die Welt treffen. Die alternative Globalisierungsbewegung entstand in dem Moment, als klar wurde, dass es eine politische Macht gab, die sich völlig vor dem Einfluss der gewöhnlichen Menschen entzog. Eine supernationale Körperschaft wie das Europäische Wirtschaftsforum entscheidet (polnisch) über grundlegende Angelegenheiten aller Regionen auf dieser Welt: es beschließt über Schulden, Strategien und Finanzen, sowie über Umwelt-Angelegenheiten. Die polnische Anti-Globalisierungsbewegung analysierte auf der polnischen Indymedia-Seite, dass die Perspektiven der Linken (polnisch) und der Freiheitsbewegung (polnisch) immer noch ziemlich schwach (polnisch) sind und auf jeden Fall weniger entwickelt und einflussreich als vergleichbare Bewegungen in anderen europäischen Ländern. Doch auch hier haben Gruppen mit etwas anderen Vorstellungen sich zusammengetan um zu protestieren und Alternativen zum globalen Kapitalismus zu präsentieren. Organisationen und Netzwerke wie ATTAC Polen (polnisch); der Koalition von Friedensgruppen (englisch) (Anarchist Vereinigung und Anti-autoritäre Gruppen); Arbeiterdemokratie (Pracownicza Demokracja) die Initiative 'Stop War' (polnisch); die Poznan Antikrieg-Koalition (polnisch) und viele andere, sogar einige kleine Gewerkschaften werden höchstwahrscheinlich zu einer gemeinsamen Demonstration am 29. April zusammenlaufen, ohne aber ein Komitee zu bilden. Auch erwartet man AktivistInnen aus anderen Ländern. Um diesen Artikel zu beenden, muss noch gesagt werden, dass es in Polen an Öffentlichkeit fehlt, die GlobalisierungsgegnerInnen zu unterstützen (mit Ausnahme von Jacek Kuron (polnisch) und Zygmunt Bauman (polnisch), deren Artikel man im Newswire auf Indy-Polen lesen kann); Es gibt keine offiziellen, herkömmlichen Medien, in denen diese Sichtweise ausgedrückt werden kann. Zur Zeit des Europäischen Sozialforums in Frankreich (französisch) achteten die meisten JournalistInnen auf Menschen aus verschiedenen Ländern und präsentierten oder diskutierten deren Meinung. Im Gegensatz dazu, befinden sich die polnischen Medien derzeit in offenem Kampf mit den OrganisatorInnen der anstehenden Demonstrationen auszutragen, obwohl wir von den polnischen Medien nur erwarten, dass sie Reife zeigen und Demokratie, Unabhängigkeit und Redefreiheit respektieren. Hierzu ist es wichtig, unabhängige, freie, linke und sozial engagierte Nachrichtendienste in Polen wie http://www.prawda.pl, http://www.poprostu.pl http://www.lewica.pl, und http://www.recykling.uni.wroc.pl, zu erwähnen, wo man Informationen über Aktionen der GlobalisierungsgegnerInnen finden kann. I media polacchi si stanno occupando della questione già da un mese a questa parte, dipingendo addirittura uno scenario catastrofico dell'evento, ma non prendendo in considerazione l'idea di occuparsi anche del forum alternativo.
Il consiglio municipale di Varsavia teme l'organizzazione di manifestazioni da parte di differenti movimenti e gruppi, i quali domandano la chiusura del centro della città durante il forum. Il movimento antiglobalizzazione polacco, già analizzato da Indymedia Polonia da un punto di vista libertario, rimane relativamente debole; in ogni caso meno sviluppato ed influente che in altri paesi europei. Nonostante ciò, anche in Polonia gruppi con obiettivi diversi si sono uniti nella protesta e nella ricerca di alternative al capitalismo e alla globalizzazione. Organizzazioni come Attac Polonia, la Coalizione dei Gruppi Libertari (Federazione dell'Anarchico e gruppi anti-autoritari), Pracownicza Demokracja (Democrazia dei Lavoratori), l'alleanza contro la guerra Poznań, sindacati ed altri ancora, si uniranno probabilmente per una grande manifestazione il 29 aprile, senza però senza creare un comitato. L'arrivo di molti attivisti stranieri anche è attesto. Il programma della protesta prevede diversi momenti:
Il movimento no global è nato quando è risultata evidente la presenza di un potere in grado di ignorare completamente l'influenza della gente comune. Un corpo sovranazionale come il Forum Economico Europeo decide gli affari fondamentali per tutte le regioni del mondo come, per esempio, la regolazione dei decessi, le strategie di mercato e finanziarie e le questioni di materia ecologico-ambientale. Le prime informazioni concernenti il Forum economico europeo di Varsavia risalgono al novembre del 2003. Per saperne di più visitate Indymedia Polonia. Ma di cosa hanno paura le autorità e i media polacchi? Evidentemente delle manifestazioni di opposizione al FEE. Questo nonostante la maggior parte dei no global dichiarino apertamente di non avere intenzione di ricorrere alla violenza e di non voler provocare incidenti. Al contrario, i loro obiettivi principali sono di presentare delle analisi critiche e di organizzare un sommet alternativo. Nessuno articolo apparso nella stampa locale accenna al fatto che simultaneamente al Forum ufficiale si terranno un teatro indipendente, un dibattito economico sulle alternative al neoliberalismo, oltre ad altri eventi culturali. Gli argomenti del movimento d'opposizione al Forum Economico Europeo sono stati ignorati, evitandone la pubblicazione. Per concludere questo articolo vale la pena ricordare che in Polonia manca un'opinione pubblica che sostenga apertamente gli/le altermondialist* (a parte qualche eccezione rarissima, come Jacek Kuroń e Zygmunt Bauman che scrivono in polacco sul newswire), non ci sono da noi media ufficiali, commerciali, dove questi punti di vista possano essere espressi. In Francia, durante il forum sociale europeo, la maggior parte dei giornalisti hanno fatto attenzione alle opinioni dei partecipanti degli altri paesi, e hanno avuto scambi con essi, e addirittura hanno confrontato e discusso le loro opinioni. I media polacchi, al contrario, hanno in quel momento direttamente attaccato gli organizzatori delle manifestazioni, mentre tutto quello che noi ci attendevamo era solamente che i media polacchi sapessero dimostrare la maturità di rispettare la democrazia, l'indipendenza e la libertà d'espressione. È doveroso in questo contesto menzionare i servizi indipendenti, libertari, di sinistra e socialmente validi attivi in Polonia, quali:
